## Brand Transformation Strategy
In 2024, Voimatel underwent a major business transformation, divesting its electricity network operations to focus entirely on the availability of data networks and critical digital infrastructure. This shift required a complete refocusing of the brand to align internal operations with external service offerings.

The brand renewal played a central role in:

* Building trust with stakeholders
* Creating positive emotional connections internally and externally

## Bilingual Approach
Recognizing Voimatel’s presence in Finland and its international reach through its subsidiary, Boftel in Estonia, the brand strategy was developed using a bilingual approach. While the company's roots are Finnish, the strategy work was led in English to ensure global relevance. This method fostered an environment of openness and ensured the brand foundations could support international telecommunication clients while remaining authentic to their local heritage.

## Service Design and Identity
The collaboration resulted in a comprehensive brand overhaul, including:
* **Brand Strategy & Identity:** Development of a new visual identity and core messaging.
* **Service Clarification:** Streamlining the fixed network service offering.
* **Digital Presence:** Design and development of a new website reflecting the redefined business.
* **Launch Support:** Creation of communication themes, social media frameworks, and ongoing marketing support for campaigns and daily operations.

## The Power of Connection
The brand was officially launched during a leadership summit in Kuopio, attended by 65 business leaders. The new identity is anchored by the unifying tagline: **“The Power of Connection”**.

While everyday communications remain primarily in Finnish, the English brand foundation allows Voimatel to engage effortlessly in international environments. The brand honors the company's legacy while positioning them to design, build, and maintain resilient networks for the future.
